Getting professional photos of your family should not be stressful. My goal is to make your custom photography experience easy to book and easy to experience. I am fully digital, from booking your session online to downloading your images directly to your phone or computer. The comment I hear most often after a session is, "Wow, that was easier than we thought it would be!"
YOU + ME
In order to have the best photo session, you need to trust your photographer. I am going to do everything in my power to make you and your family look awesome, so all you have to do is relax and have fun. Luckily, my clients are all laid-back and wonderful human beings, so getting great photos of them has proven to be pretty easy!
Before booking, please double check to make sure I offer the kind of photos you are looking for. Keep in mind that I do not offer traditional posed newborn photos with props and baskets.
HOW I WORK
A session with me will be over before you know it! I am very quick and efficient with my camera, so I won't make you stand in the same position for very long. I know that children have a time limit with how long they can last during a session, so I am conscious of keeping it fun and easy on everyone involved. I like to be inspired by the light and the environment, so every session is unique and different.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Newborn sessions typically take place between 1-3 weeks after the birth. The baby can be awake or asleep, and there is plenty of time to nurse or change diapers. Most babies are happier in a swaddle, but I also like to use a onesie to show off how tiny they are.
Family sessions involve a lot of playing and hugging! I might get a few images where everyone is looking into the camera, but mostly I get a lot of wonderful candid and genuine moments.
Maternity sessions are typically best between 32-38 weeks. Most clients like to wear two outfits during the session, like a long maxi dress and then a more casual option. It's basically an engagement session with a pregnant belly!
