Family Photography Session at the Palace of Fine Arts

San Francisco Family Photographer

I really enjoy my family photography sessions at the Palace of Fine Arts. There’s such a wide variety of interesting architecture and backgrounds. Even when I photograph in an area that I’ve used before, each family creates its own unique feeling to the photo that the area becomes new again. It’s like going out for chocolate ice cream or pizza. Every place creates its own unique flavor out of what is essentially the same ingredient from one place to the next. This same principle applies to photography: You can get ten different images from the same exact thing.

Not to say that means all are the same. This family really stood out for their family photography session at the Palace. They looked spectacular against the big green doors along the walkway by the veranda. You can see how the size of the doors complements their style without overtaking the picture. Doors so grand like these add a luxury to the photos, making them more dramatic and especially appealing. This group just blended right in as if they were the doors to their home.

You also can’t get any cuter than these kids. Posing for the camera as if they were professional models. It wouldn’t surprise me if they are. Take a look!
