I started Katie Rain Photography fifteen years ago after becoming a mom myself. In those early days, I discovered that my greatest strength wasn't just creating beautiful photographs—it was creating an experience where families could truly relax.
From the moment we begin, my goal is to put you at ease so your session feels effortless, natural, and even fun. Whether I'm soothing a newborn, making a toddler laugh, or helping parents feel confident in front of the camera, I bring a calm, efficient approach that allows genuine connection to shine through.

Each session is unique, but my process is the same! I have a very calming and grounding energy that immediately will put everyone at ease. I like to look at the light and environment for inspiration, but will always follow the mood of the child or baby to get the best results.
I will suggest the best locations for the time of day we have selected, and I will direct and guide you during the photoshoot. You will never be left feeling awkward and I promise you will leave saying, "That was way easier than we expected!"
