In February, I went to Palm Springs with two of my best friends for the weekend. As a mom, I try very hard to maintain my life as an independent person and not just “mom.” It’s hard! Really hard. Most of my friends don’t have kids yet, so it’s actually nice being in the zone where there is no talk about nap schedules and kid stuff (yawn). It was much needed and so much fun- it also helps when your friends love to pose for photos and happen to be good at it. We stayed at Mia’s mom’s second home– she just started renting it out here. It’s seriously the best vacation home I’ve even stayed in. Check it out if you are looking for a fun spot for the summer!
