It’s funny. I started writing this blog post while watching the movie The Heartbreak Kid, which at the beginning of the movie takes place in San Francisco. When I looked over at the tv screen, the scene that was on had a view of one of my favorite places to shoot a family photography session in the Bay, Cavallo Point. Coincidentally, it’s also the area that I used to photograph this lovely family. Pretty neat that I get the opportunity to click my shutter in a place that even the big screen thinks is beautiful.
Usually I have a family session when the child is a bit older. However, this family did not have a newborn session for their little Baby Kaia, so they wanted to have their family photography session while she was still on the younger side. She was a very sweet baby, and pretty much made every picture adorable. Not to mention her parents, who were a beautiful couple on their own. They had recently moved from New York and I was delighted to have had the chance to talk about the East Coast with them.
They really came together well for the camera. Their outfits were coordinated to blend perfectly with one another and they truly showed love for one another whether on camera or off. It made for very soft and special photos.
