First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy or new baby! You've made it to this page, which means you are interested in freezing this moment with photos while you can. Trust me, you will be so happy you did!
Booking a session is very simple. I have an online calendar for you to use by simply clicking on the book a session button. If you are still pregnant, please select a date about 10 days after your due date. We can adjust if necessary. If you have already had your baby, please select an upcoming date that works for you.
Let me start by saying, I will document your baby in a natural and authentic style without the use of props. You won't find any babies in bowls from me!
My goal for your lifestyle newborn session is to document your family with a natural and modern approach. I’ll work with the environment of your home or studio to provide candid and beautiful images that preserve moments in time.
Newborn sessions take place when baby is under 4 weeks old. Since my approach is more lifestyle photography based, the baby does not need to be 5 days old like they do for the super-posed sessions. It's totally flexible! I want you to feel great for the photos, so if that means you need to wait longer, then great. There is no pressure.
While there is no strict time limit on newborn sessions, you can expect the session to last about 90 minutes. At least one parent must participate in the session, and siblings are encouraged to be present as well. If grandma is in town, or you want a picture with the nanny, that's great too! The more interaction and real life moments, the better!
About two weeks after the session, you will receive your private online gallery with your edited images. They will be in high resolution digital format so you can download, print, and share them however you choose for personal use.
You can always add-on the First Year Package after viewing your images. That includes the 6 month session and 1 year session, so you are sure to remember all the adorable baby stages. They happen fast!
