Whoa. How cute is this little guy?! When I first met Baby Oliver I couldn’t help but stare into his beautiful eyes. They were so expressive and calm. He looked as if he really understood what was happening around him. He appeared right at home for his in-home newborn session. I just wanted to eat him up!
Oliver’s parents were so warm and sweet. You could tell they were just so smitten with him. I think that’s probably the reason why Oliver had such a calming personality. The three of them together really felt like a unit, and it came out in their photos. When I returned to my Petaluma studio and uploaded their session, I startled myself with how many pictures I had taken of them. I didn’t realize how caught up in the moment I had become during our time together.
Further, I can’t stress enough just how much I appreciate Oliver’s parents having been referred to me by two of my past clients. Along with my pictures, I try my best to build lasting relationships with my clients and I’m always up to it when they want to grab coffee or a drink. I am truly thankful that by doing what I do I get to befriend so many different people. When they refer me to other potential clients, it’s like a bonus- whether for an in-home newborn session, family session, or maternity.
I hope Baby Oliver’s family and I stay close. I’d love to watch him grow.
